A Quick Shot of Compassion
This is a fairly old story, I read it at the beginning of this year, but it never ceases to strike me as amazing. It’s about a man who gets mugged on his way to dinner after a long day of work. Instead of reacting with anger this man, Julio Diaz, looked at the situation from a place of love and identified with the desperation and hopelessness the boy must be feeling. Diaz then offered the boy his coat, and took him out to dinner….
